Melvin Harrison played his first gig way back in 1967 and has been a professional singer and guitarist since the early 1970s. He has performed in the UK, Europe including Scandinavia and even in the first western band to play in India in 1979.

He first performed solo in 1990. That started 30 years of working more than 200 shows a year playing his own mixture of 1960s and Mod music. Supporting just about every well-known 60’s band he played every sort of venue from theatres, festivals and concert tours.

Building on his love of Mod music and its culture it seemed inevitable that this tribute was going to happen at some time. Being constantly asked by people of all ages for anything by “Paul Weller” and with the studio time needed to prepare, record and rehearse the show, now is the time.

Custom backing tracks recorded in his own studio help to re-create the excitement of a live band and together with guitars played live, gives Melvin the backing he needs to vocally project these great Weller songs with the power and authenticity of a lifelong Mod.
